Meeting the mini-beasts!
Posted On 29 Apr 2016
We were lucky enough to to have a visit from ‘Animals Intuition’ to teach us all about our topic… mini-beasts! She brought in snails, millipedes, stick insects, cockroaches, mealworms, scorpions and a tarantula! The children were extremely brave and were eager to hold them all! It was really fascinating to see them up close and learn all about them. Here are some fantastic photographs of the experience…
i remember doing this when i was in class 3 but we didn’t hold scary things like coackroachs we held a hamster and it did a wee on my dress ;(
I bet you definitely had a brilliant time
What a fearless bunch! I’m so impressed by everyone who was happy to hold and peek at these beasts! They look like an amazing bunch of creatures.
Dear Miss Thomas
I wish I had been there on this day but I am pleased you all had a good time with the animals, it looked like a lot of fun and a little bit scary!
I like the picture with you holding the tarantula and with Lola holding the stick insect on her head.
We have all had very nice days at the school and we have done lots of fun and interesting things and topics. Thank you.
