Hello, my name is Kerry Quinn and I have recently moved to York from Tidworth. I am however originally from North Wales.
I have been a teaching assistant for approximately 14 years and I’ve loved every minute of it. In this time, I have gained a wealth of experience working with SEND children. Most of my career I have worked with children who have a variety of additional needs. I enjoy watching children reach goals.
When I’m not in work I am a mother to an 8 year old boy who has some additional needs. I am also a wife to a serving soldier.
I am currently in my 5th year of uni studying forensic psychology, so most of my evenings I spend studying. I thoroughly enjoy learning and expanding my knowledge.
When I have a spare hour or so, I enjoy watching films and binge watching Friends on Netflix. On the weekends, I enjoy going on long walks and baking some lovely treats for my son and husband.
I am looking forward to being an active member of staff at Park Grove and having the opportunity to learn new skills.
