This is our new song called “Fit it Five!” It is to help our children with conflicts and giving them strategies to independently communicate with each other.
1. Ignore it
2. Walk away
3. Talk friendly
4. Talk firmly
5. Find an adult

A huge thank you to @regencyrestaurantyork @regencysupermarketyork for donating fortune cookies for Lime and Maroon Class for our English Immersion. We are looking at stories from Ancient China including the Dragon and the Painter 🐉 🇨🇳
For our re-ignition into our topic work, Dynamic Dynasties, in KS2 we used the kites we made on DT to hold our very own kite festival. The children were thrilled to test their kites and see how successful they were at creating amazing structures. It was brilliant to see their team work, embodying so many of our core values.
For Remembrance Day yesterday, KS2 had an amazing assembly with Captain Major. We talked all about the importance of Remembrance Day. The children had the opportunity to ask some questions as well. We found out about how the money raised is used to support soldiers and their families, what Captain Major does to celebrate and remember as well as what the origin of the poppy was. Thank you so much to Captain Major for visiting our school we loved having you for a second visit.
Thank you for being a friend from Lime and Maroon Class🎵❤️
We just had an amazing lesson in Upper Key Stage 2! The children took simple bars of soap and turned them into stunning sculptures, drawing inspiration from Ancient China. Seeing them use such care and concentration to create these tiny, historical masterpieces was absolutely brilliant!
Happy Half Term from Lime and Maroon! We did our usual Friday sing along yesterday instead 🎤
We have loved celebrating Diwali Day in Early Years and Key Stage 1! We have danced, made Rangoli patterns, tried Indian food and made clay divas! Happy Diwali!!! 🎆🏵️🎇🔆
