Over the last two weeks, we have taken part in the #BigWalkandWheel! It has been great to see so many children scooting, cycling and walking to school. Our Golden Lock winners and walking raffle winner have received their prizes today. #ParkGrovePE
Last week our Year 2 children loved exploring at @ch_arboretumtrust we found mini beasts, learnt about worms and soil and red squirrels. 🐿️ 🐛 🐞 🐜
Our Year 5/6 football teams have enjoyed recent matches. The girls took part in a tournament where they showed fantastic progress over all of their matches. The boys showed excellent attitude and teamwork throughout their match. We are very proud of the way our pupils represent the school. #ParkGrovePE
Our Year 5s recently visited York Elim Church. They had a fantastic morning learning all about the building and the community who were helping to restore it. The children were inspired by a local artist, musician, architect and stonemason. It was fantastic to hear about how the building will be supporting the community in the future.
Our Year 3 and 4 classes have been transforming their study of ammonite fossils into hands-on art by etching intricate spiral designs into foam. We can’t wait to see these fossils come to life when we begin the printing process next! 🐚🎨
