Next week in English we will be looking in more detail at balanced arguments.

Year 6s – Remember to complete page 15 in your CGP English book.

Spellings

This week we have looked at spellings with the suffixes -ancy and -ency. You have been given ten spellings to learn for your test next week. Please remember to practise them in your homework book.

Maths

In maths we are looking at using equivalences between fractions, decimals and percentages to solve problems as well as calculating time-based problems.

Year 6s – Remember to complete pages 16 and 17 in your CGP maths book.

Other Notes

On Tuesday we will be performing our class assembly to the whole school. Please ensure you come to school promptly on this day.

Next Friday we will be celebrating World Book Day at Park Grove. Please come to school dressed as your favourite book character. We will be doing lots of exciting book-related activities!

I thought world book day was fun but I don’t like star wars so I wasn’t really interesting to me but I enjoyed the rest of the day.
