Maths

In maths we are looking at using equivalences between fractions, decimals and percentages to solve problems as well as calculating time-based problems.

English                                                                                                                                    

Next week in English we will be continuing to look at The Railway Children by Edith Nesbit.

Spellings                                     

Year 4 will look at using the prefix ‘auto’ and Year 5 will look at words with the suffix ‘ous’.

Other Notes
On Friday it is World Book Day at Park Grove. You can come into school dressed as your favourite book character. If you need any ideas or help please see your class teacher. During this day we will be doing a range of exciting activities linked to World Book Day.
