Next week

In English next week, we will be exploring Oliver’s Fruit Salad and Oliver’s Vegetables by Vivian French which links to our topic of Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. We’ll be applying our writing skills by using commas in a list and exclamation sentences linked to the texts. We’re also really excited to get arty by designing our own garden using watercolours! In maths, we will be revisiting subtraction and practising the empty number line method to demonstrate this. Also, we will be adding and subtracting money as well as working out change which would be leftover. Another Phonics Stay and Learn session will be taking place in Class 4 on Thursday 16th March from 9-9:30. We still have lots of places available and we’d love for you to come along and learn about how your children develop their reading skills! Finally, it will be red group’s show and tell next week, please ask your children to bring in something that begins with the same letter as their name.
