Next Week 

The children will be working on their grammar, punctuation and vocabulary. They will also be looking at how to make milkshakes for healthy eating and writing recipes. 

In maths the Reception children we will be looking at adding and subtracting in the context of lots of practical problems. Year 1 children will explore position and direction. 

We have a fantastic science experiment planned about the importance of a balanced diet. 

We will continue to explore significant people and so far have looked at Sebastian Coe andJessica Ennis. Next week we will look at the life of Usain Bolt. 

Spellings – we will be learning sounds ‘wh’ and ‘ph’
