Next week

Next week in maths we will be doing some additional work on telling the time. We will be doing lots of practical works with the mini clocks and securing our understanding of where the minute and the hour hand should be pointing for specific times. In English, we will be doing some exciting writing about a special object. The children will be thinking creatively about where this object came from and what it could do. This activity will allow the children to use their imagination and really ‘show off’ the writing skills they have developed over the year. We will also be practising how to read with expression and writing our own tongue twisters! Tuesday 24th May will be our exciting Maths Enirchment Day, details of which can be found in the letter which you should have received this Wednesday. It will be BLUE groups show and tell next week, please encourage your child to bring in their favourite book and be able to explain why that book is special to them. Finally, please remember that we will be breaking up for half term on Thursday 26th May due to the staff training day on Friday 27th May.
