Next week in Class 4

In maths, the Year 2s will be spending a few days strengthening their skills of mental arithmetic. This will be a great opportunity for the children to ask any questions about particular methods they should be using or types of questions they are unsure of. In the meantime, the Year 1 children will be further developing their knowledge of 2D and 3D shapes. By the end of the week, we will be revisiting fractions and finding fractions of shapes and numbers. In English, we will be developing our grammar skills and spending a few days on using different punctuation, adverbs and tenses. Finally, it will be YELLOW groups show and tell this week, please encourage them to bring in their favourite book.
