Next Week in Class 6

English
Next week in English we will continue to write about the character ‘Ug’. We will also use the DIG Stone Age artefacts to inspire our writing as you all enjoyed looking at them this week!

Reading

Please remember to bring your yellow Reading Record into school so that we can fill it in after your guided reading session. Please aim to fill it in once a week a home (even if you hopefully read much more than this)!

Spellings
You have been given your spellings on Monday. Please practise them at home and complete the activity set in your homework books. Your spelling homework is checked on Monday too so please bring your book in then and put it in the homework tray in class.

Maths
In maths next week we will be completing data handling work, including looking at pictograms.

Continue to practise your 11 times tables this week. We have set you My Maths homework. Remember that to get on the site the username is: parkgrove and the password is: multiply. You have your own personal log-ins to access your homework tasks.

Other notes

Next Wednesday we will have a special assembly in the morning when we will Skype a real-life archaeologist! This will be very exciting. Try to think of questions that you would like to ask the archaeologist!
