English

Next week in English we will be continuing our learning about Aesop’s fables.

Spellings

This week we have looked at the apostrophe for possession in our spelling lesson.

We have given you 10 spellings from the Year 3 and 4 spelling list that were commonly mis-spelled when we looked at the spellings a few months ago. Please practise the 10 spellings in your homework book by completing the activity on your spelling sheet, ready for your test next week.

Maths

In maths next week we will be using our addition and subtraction skills to work with money and solve money problems.

Remember to practise your 7 times table for the second week of the Times Table Challenge.

We have set you a time task on My Maths. You have your individual homework log-ins but to access the website the school username is: parkgrove and the password is: multiply.

Other Notes

Please remember Monday is the Big Pedal 2016 competition.  We will be competing to become one of the UK’s top schools for two-wheeled journeys and will be in with a chance to win prizes. All you need to do is to cycle or scoot to school on this day. Journeys made by parents, guardians and siblings are also eligible for prizes.

Please remember your swimming kit on Monday!

Class 6 will be taking part in a fun music workshop next Tuesday.
