Next Week in Class 6

English

Next week in English we will be reading more of The Railway Children and will complete writing linked to the story.

Spellings

This week we have looked at spellings with endings sounding like ‘sure’ and ‘ture’. You have been given ten spellings to learn for your test next week. Please practise them in your homework book by completing the activity on your spelling sheet.

Maths

In maths next week we will be continuing to learn about tenths and hundredths and we will link our recent learning to decimal fractions.

Remember to practise your 12 times table for the first week of the Times Table Challenge.

We have set you a time task on My Maths. You have your individual homework log-ins but to access the website the school username is: parkgrove and the password is: multiply.

Other Notes

Next Friday we will be celebrating World Book Day at Park Grove. Please come to school dressed as your favourite book character. We will be doing lots of exciting book-related activities!
