Megan Gartland (Teacher)

Hi, my name is Miss Orr. I started Park Grove in September 2015 and I love being part of the Park Grove team. I really enjoy working with Reception and KS1 as every day brings new exciting challenges and I believe learning through play is incredibly valuable for all of the children. I am a very creative person as I studied my degree in Textile Design and therefore I really enjoy teaching artistic lessons to see what the children can create – their imagination and ingenuity always amazes me!

When I’m not teaching, my time is kept very busy with my three children, who are always on the go! We love going for dog walks, playing at the park, singing our favourite songs and reading our favourite stories. I also love doing lots of creative activities such as knitting and drawing, they all help to make me relax after a busy day.
