It was great to see so many parents and friends of Park Grove at the Speed Quiz organised by Park Grove PTA last week. These high-tech quizzes are created by PG parent Alan Leach and involve I-pads, picture and music clues, with subjects ranging from politics to the date of the introduction of hob nobs (1985). Staff attend as well as parents, giving rise to a healthy rivalry. I am proud to say my (all-female) team came second on the night , and our team consisted of 2 parents, a governor, and 2 local residents – a great mix showing how the school can get involved in its local community. The night also raised over £300 for the school – so everyone was a winner in the end.
