Class 6 maths group went outside for a lesson this week to work out a perimeter problem! The children used metre sticks to work out the perimeter of a large square on the playground. They worked together to solve the problem and did really well responding to questions about the maths they had done! It was a nice change going outside to apply our skills to a real life situation.
