Reflections…

On Monday afternoon we learnt about how light is reflected and used our super understanding of reflection to create a working periscope!  The children also reflected on our learning to explain how the periscope allows us to see objects we would not usually be able to see.

I really enjoyed making the periscopes and I enjoyed making them look more colourful than they already were.

It took me ages to make my periscope but it was definitely worth it as it was really fun to use!

This was a really fun activity to do as a class it also really helped my understanding of reflections.

I really enjoyed making the Periscope as I didn’t know you could look at a mirror on that angle to see an object. I also enjoyed decorating them.

I really enjoyed making the periscopes! The decorations that we put on on Friday made our periscopes look very realistic (like proper periscopes!). 😀

It was very fun to make the Periscope but it was very hard to decorate them because we had to stick pieces onto it over the jagged edges but finally I managed to do it and I really enjoyed this lesson. It was not all about making the periscope, because I think we all learnt something from that lesson in how reflection works and how you can see things.

This activity was very fun, and also I enjoyed making the periscopes. And I liked how we put mirrors at each end of the periscope so we can see each other ;))))
