Real life refraction!

Early this morning, some vibrant and vividly colourful visible spectrums were seen inside Park Grove! All the colours of the rainbow could be seen dazzling the walls and even over our bags!

Can you remember why the spectrum would be visible?

The prism causes the light to break up into the visible spectrum. This is because the light refracts, and the wavelengths between the colours are different; so the white light splits up into seven different colours.
