In science enrichment day we learned that an Tim Peak was going to space so we investigated a website as well as finding which facts were true or false about Mars. It involved inclusion because we worked in groups for second task.

I learnt a lot about space on the enrichment day, particularly Mars! I enjoyed the afternoon as well, the finished piece of art was brilliant. When we were sorting out the true or false cards, my team got 7/10 correct!

I really enjoyed science enrichment day. It inspired me to go to space when I’m older and I really enjoyed doing my abstract picture with Freya!

I particularly enjoyed the abstract art when we made a picture inspired by Peter Thorpe. It represented all of the core values:

Fun – It was GREAT fun!
Creativity – Because it was art, it was extremely creative.
Individuality – All of our rocket pictures were completely unique.
Inclusion – We had to work together in our pairs to create the perfect picture.
Inspiration – We were all inspired by Peter Thorpe.
Excellence – All of our pictures were EXCELLENT!

On science enrichment day we did loads of fun activities about Mars e.g. we were given 10 cards each one had 3 questions on 2 were false and one was true we had to guess the true one.
