We had a great problem solving lesson today and posed the question ‘if each person in class had to shake hands with every other member of the class, how many handshakes would there be in total?’

Each group came up with a different way of beginning to solve the problem based on how many handshakes there would be between 4, 5, 6  or 10 children.  But Class 7, what do you think the ultimate answer is if we have 29 children in our class?  Good luck, mathematicians!
