Sports Day!

We recently enjoyed our fantastic Sports Days for EYFS, KS1 and KS2. It was brilliant to see all our PG children get involved and thank you for the super support from parents too!

“A couple of weeks ago, KS2 took part in the annual sports day. Each pupil had the the choice of what events they would like to participate in. There were a range of different events including javelin, bean-bag throw, climbing, table tennis, 50m sprint and many more. The first set of activates were javelin, ball shot and bean-bag throw. The children weren’t pressured to win but to just try their best as it is the taking part that counts!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the first set of activities and were excited and motivated for the next. We went over to the station where we would complete the second task: climbing, table tennis and beat the goalie. At the end of each activity the three people with the highest scores were given a sticker saying where they placed in the top three. The last activity we did was running. You could run 50m, 800m or take part in the relay race. Although everyone enjoyed the running, the highlight of the day was watching the parents race. This was entertaining for both parents and the pupils! We are all looking forward to next year.”

Early Years and KS1 children also had a great Sports Day! The children did really well in all of their events, especially the running races at the end! It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm from the children and parents. We hope everyone who came to see our sports events enjoyed the morning as much as we did!
