Tell us, Rosie!

In English today, we read some more of our exciting class book Street Child and found out where Jim went after he escaped the workhouse.

He found Rosie, who helped his mum and sisters, and found out what happened to her…

We explored her story through hot-seating and asked ‘her’ a range of open questions to find out more!

Today was really fun because reading the story was fascinating. It told the story of Jim really in-depth. 😀

I like reading street child but I am a bit sad we cant read it for a day as we are on a trip for half a day and aren’t doing English. Also, on Thursday it is toy day, not that I don’t like toy day though.
