We really enjoyed learning about temperature today! We discussed what language we might use to describe it such as hot, cold, freezing and we learnt about how a thermometer works. As it was such a lovely day, we also put a real thermometer outside to see how hot it was! We then worked on the laptops in pairs to play a game where we had to read the thermometer carefully and record the reading. Some of us were able to read two thermometers and work out the difference between the two temperatures! Wow!
