In our topic lesson this week we looked at the important role that women played in World War 2. Each table in class received a war job offer letter (roles that women actually undertook in wartime). The children then worked in groups to research the role and what it entailed. We enjoyed finding out about what women did in the Second World War and how this impacted women in the years since the war.
