My name is Victoria Clinton and I am both a class teacher and the music lead at Park Grove Primary Academy. I am extremely pleased to be back at Park Grove after training with Ebor in 2021/22. I have high expectations and encourage all children to strive to do their best, taking pride in their behaviour and work, whilst being respectful, curious and caring.
I am originally from a small farm in Derbyshire but moved to York a couple of years ago to be in the same county as my partner who I met while studying at the University in Birmingham.
Outside of the classroom, my first love is music, and I am lucky enough to have a first class degree from a UK Conservatoire. I play trombone and piano and have performed in many UK concert halls including the Royal Albert Hall and collaborated with amazing musicians/companies such as Aardman Animations. I also speak French as a second language, not quite bi-ligual, but fluent enough to watch French Netflix! I enjoy travelling during the holidays as I love going to new places with family and friends. Having grown up on a farm, I also love all things animal related and in my spare time I enjoy baking, because who doesn’t love a yummy treat?
