This morning, Class 9 went on an exciting and extremely interesting trip to the newly refurbished Theatre Royal! We were shown around the brand-new facilities as well as older ones that had been re-done. Our tour guide lead us around many fascinating rooms. First of all, we walked past the snazzy-looking kiosk to dressing room 5 and that was only the start of our extraordinary trip; we also visited onstage, in the gallery (a.k.a the Gods) backstage and learnt some creepy superstitions, then finished our trip with a visit under the stage to see a Roman well. It was a wonderful trip we will never forget!
Class 9 – what was your favourite part of the theatre tour?
It was so brilliant, my favorite part was by far under the stage!!
My favourite part of the tour was definitely when we had a chance to sit on the gods; it was epic because of how high up they were!
