Work, terrible work!

Today we’ve delved a little more into life as a Victorian child, looking closely at what jobs they did (as some children didn’t go to school!) and also treating ourselves to a bit of Horrible Histories!

What jobs do you know that Victorian children could do?

What would you rather do, go to school or have one of those jobs?!

One of the jobs I remember is a ‘crossing sweeper, coal miner, chimney sweeper, factory workers and there are many more jobs.

I would rather go to school then do one of the jobs because the jobs would be quite boring and hard work, where as school you would learn new things.
