World Book Day!

We’ve had a fantastic time in Class 9 celebrating World Book Day 2016!

We started the day with a in drama activity inspired by an official World Book Day book: The Boy who could do what he liked, by David Baddiel. The elderly Mrs Stokes was a very amusing character to act out!

We then created some book spines for our favourite books using pencil crayons and pastels, and in the afternoon we visited Class 4 to read some of their favourite books together. It was great to see Class 4 and 9 share their love of reading together!

After that, we all enjoyed a brilliant World Book Day parade, showcasing our amazing costumes. We finished the day with a quiz based on books and famous characters in class. Well done the Oompa Starcraft Pros for a top score of 43/50!!!
