Young Voices 2024

It was that time of the year again – Young Voices 2024! This is such a highlight of the year for our Young Voices choir and it didn’t disappoint. After dedicating 12 weeks to practising all of the Young Voices songs, it was finally the big day! We first ventured to Haxby Road to get together as one big choir with both of our schools before embarking on our journey to Sheffield Arena.

After a pit stop at a services to eat our lunches, we arrived at the arena and were settled into our seats. The conductor David Lawrence took to the stage to lead our rehearsal which already a fantastic experience! We saw Andy and the Urban Striders and practised the songs ready for the concert. And then it was time! Excitement buzzed through the air when the lights went our and our Young Voices choir waved their torches in the air before we got stuck into our first song. The concert itself was spectacular with so many highlights! We are so proud of our Park Grovers for dedicating so much of their time to this brilliant day. Well done!
