Spellings
Spellings this week will have a focus on the ‘er’ phoneme! The graphemes are ‘er’ as in perfect, ‘ir’ as in girl and ‘ur’ as in hurt.

Spellings this week will focus on the ‘er’ sound such as er in power, ir in stir and ur in nurse. Please note that the children only need to write the word once in the largest box. If you are unsure, just ask a friendly Class 4 staff member!
