Making a Wormery!

On Tuesday in Forest Schools we had a fantastic afternoon in the sunshine looking for worms. Miss Orr was a bit worried that we wouldn’t find any because it had not been raining but we managed to find lots and lots! We started with a worm charming dance, stamping on the floor to see if the worms would think it was raining. We then used our trowels and forks to dig for worms. The Wormery was built from layers of compost and soil to make a perfect home for our wiggly worms!
