Atlas work

This week in class 5 we have been using the atlas’ to locate different countries around the world. We then focused on Brazil and created a fact file page about this country. We have learnt lots about Brazil and we are looking forward to seeing them host the Olympic Games...

Mascots

This week we shared our mascot homework projects. There was lots of creative and imaginative ideas produced by members of class 5 and we enjoyed learning all about it.

Bonkers for Brazil

As the Olympic Games in Rio is creeping closer, we spent this afternoon researching Brazil using atlases to find important information about its physical and human geography.  Year 5 – what did you find out about Brazil? Did anything surprise you?

Fractions, fractions, fractions!

We love fractions in Class 6! The children have really improved in this area of maths this year. We have looked at decimal fraction equivalences today, For example 1/2 is equivalent to 0.5 and 1/4 = 0.25. Do you like decimal fraction equivalences Class 6?
