Library visit 

The children throughly enjoyed the visit to York library. We listened to a story and had lots of time to explore the hugh selection of different books on the shelves. We all want to visit the library again with our mums and dads.

Making porridge for the Three Bears

We decided it was about time we made more porridge for Baby Bear, since naughty Goldilocks ate it all! The children followed instructions very carefully and made some excellent porridge using bossy words. Baby Bear was very happy and told the children it was just right.

On Wednesday afternoon we had a technology afternoon using the iPads and chrome books. We used a programme called purple mash to decorate gingerbread men.

Forest Schools

On Tuesday in Forest Schools we used our clipboards and pastels to sketch different things we could see outside. Some people drew trees, plants or acorns. The end results were all fantastic as everyone had really thought about the colours they were using.

Making Gingerbread Men

On Monday in class 1 we all became expert bakers and used our measuring skills to weigh out all of the ingredients for making gingerbread men. Everyone was excellent at rolling out the dough and using the cutters to make the shapes. They all tasted delicious!
