£751.53 – The Halloween Disco Profit

We hope that everyone had a great time at the Halloween Disco last Friday evening. The event made a profit of £751.53, which, as always, will be used to enhance the children’s education and their experiences at school. (For a list of projects funded by the PTA in 2014/15 please see the accounts summary on the PTA notice board opposite Class 3).

Thank you to those who volunteered to help, and the overall support we received, as this ensures that events like this can take place.

It was lovely to see so many of the new staff and parent/carers supporting the Halloween Disco. Some commented on how popular the disco was and how strong the PTA involvement/support is at Park Grove. We are all part of the PTA by default (just by becoming a parent/carer/member of staff or child at the school)

So many schools have no PTA involvement whatsoever and the sense of community that was created last Friday, by everyone, shows just how important a PTA can be for a school (There must have been around 400 people there on the evening)
