Bang the drum!
Posted On 17 Sep 2014
This week we have been investigating sound in our science lesson. As a class, we planned and carried out an investigation to see what happens to the sound from a drum when the distance from it increases. We thought about and shared our predictions and then discussed what variables we would need to change. Then, using a decibel meter on one of our school iPads, we measured the sound of a drum, played brilliantly by Zak, to see how the measurements changed.
Did the results match with your presiction?
Was there anything unusual about the results? Why do you think this was?
