Chicken Clauses…

On Tuesday morning, Class 8 looked at the differences between main and subordinate clauses. Then in pairs, they wrote a short, creative description using a picture stimulus (of three chickens!) to show their understanding of these clauses, particularly focusing on the accurate use of subordinate clauses in different places of the sentence.

Sophia and I wrote a story about the three chickens escaping from the humans-the chicken’s names were: Layla,Holly and Samuel- I especially enjoyed reading them out and putting actions to it.
