This afternoon in Class 5 we found out how people around the world celebrate Christmas. What facts can you remember from the country you researched?!

I did Germany,
I remember that children in Germany put there shoes outside the door and if they were good, Santa would put chocolate,oranges and nuts in them but if they were bad and were listed in his black book (naughty list),they would get twigs in them!

The main foods are roast turkey and roast beef
and they send cards to each other for christmas
and they play basketball at christmas
and they get presents

Children in Mexico get presents on the 6th 0f January.

Mexican people play pinata on Christmas.
They also have a food called marshmallow fruit salad.

GERMANY People in Germany put their boots outside their front door and if their naughty they get twigs in their boots. If their good they get sweets in their boots.
