Class 7 Homework

Homework for this Week

c7 Homework 14

Project

Picture a scene
Make an image of a scene from any Shakespeare play. I’m looking for a really careful piece of work. Perhaps taken from the witches from Macbeth or the balcony in Romeo and Juliet. It could be a scene from a play we have not looked at in class. You can work in 2d (picture) or 3d (model). I would like to look at these in the final week of term from Monday 16th December. If you need a piece of paper to work on then please ask me.
Reading
Keep up the reading – particularly careful reading out loud to someone else. Remember to write in your book once a week and bring it into school every day.
MyMaths
We still have school access to MyMaths. I have not yet set any specific homework but you can go to http://www.mymaths.co.uk/ and login as parkgrove with the password of (*** ask me ***).
You can do any of the topics for fun or revision.
Spelling
Our pattern for next week is words with –ear (bear, fear) or -ight (fight, eight) in them. Please hunt out a few examples and bring them in. Stars will be awarded.
Times Tables x????
Our final test of this year will be next Friday. Make sure you know which one you are practising.
Next Week:
 In English we will write our own persuasive letters and short verbal presentation.
 In maths, we will work on place value including multiplying and dividing by 10.
 In science we will model our muscles.
Don’t Forget

 Log on to your email.
 To return your swimming slip and money.

At digital leaders for the past few weeks we’ve been building a robot called ROB-E. Firstly we had about ten people making ROB-E then some people started to lose interest. But George,Thisen,Caleb and Mr Staite continued to work on it. The robot has been challenging to build and is a new experience for all of us. We are planning to make ROB-E follow a line around and using its bumper feature to avoid obstacles.
