This afternoon we learnt all about Hernan Cortés and the fall of the Aztec Empire.
Did you know that when Cortés first arrived the Aztecs thought he was a god? They also thought that when the Spanish came over on horses they were one whole crazy creature!
Ask Class 9 to tell you more about the Aztecs when you see them!

I enjoyed learning about the historical Aztecs and Cortes, it is such an interesting story and adventure that the two took!
I did Hernan Cortes for my project and I really enjoyed learning more about him!

I learnt a lot of interesting facts about Cortes and the Aztecs and I did not know that Cortes and his army killed all the Aztecs!!
I really liked learning about the Aztecs I really liked the picture session where had write on the picture what we thought was happening.
I was surprised that the Aztecs were willing to have their heart cut out
I enjoyed doing the freeze frame in groups we did when cortes and his army set sailed to the Aztecs.
It was an amazing coincidence when Cortes landed on Quetzalcoatl’s name day. (Or was it!?)
I thought Cortes and the Aztecs were interesting.
