As part of our topic, we have been exploring life during the Stone Age. In English this week, we read a story about a group of boys in France who stumbled upon an ancient cave, a cave that hadn’t been seen by anyone since the first inhabitants used it…in the Stone Age! The cave was filled with vibrant cave paintings of bison, cows and bears that were first drawn around 10000 years ago!
To help us empathise with the character in this story and consider their thoughts, feelings and motives, we created some drama of the moment the boys discovered the cave…
Class 9 – how do you think these boys felt when they stumbled upon this cave? What thoughts were running through their mind?
They would’ve been scared but excited to go further
They are really excited because there is a rumour that there is treasure at the end of the cave.
they would have been intrigued but reluctant.
They were probably really existed. 🙂
i think they would have been eager to find out what comes next, but then be nervous and set back in case something goes wrong, (like getting lost) while exploring the cave.

I really enjoyed this lesson because we got to act out th fab story.
i was at my music lesson so missed doing this but it does look really fun!

This was a fun lesson because it involved drama and imagination and everyone was included
I reckon that they would feel curious,unsure,worried,amazed,proud and fantastic. 🙂
They must feel really overwhelmed by the whole experience and regretful in the tunnel that they’d come apart from Marcel and Jacques, Marcel was bored and Jacques was still really amazed! 🙂 😀 😛 😉 😀
