Exploring science with Augmented Reality!

Lime Class had the pleasure of testing out a new  ‘augmented reality’ tool to make science teaching more fun and engaging. This project, led by Warren Fearn, began with the aim to ‘develop a new way of teaching science to primary school children’ and they have showcased it at a range of schools within Ebor. The session involved Lime class using hand-held tablets to investigate a series of displays about climate change-related topics, including habitats, materials, renewables and healthy eating. It was fantastic and this project has even been featured in the York Press!
