Groovy Greeks

On Tuesday morning we were very lucky to go to The Grand Opera House to see the Horrible Histories production of “The Groovy Greeks”. It was a quite fabulous performance with the children learning lots about life in Ancient Greece and enjoying the entertainment!

I really enjoyed the play as it was really funny for example when the minotaur was actually Boris Johnson and the 3d goggles were cool as well 🙂 🙂 🙂

This was one of the most fun trips we’ve had at Park Grove ,my favourite part was when they said King Minos had the most hideous child : half bull half man and a picture of Boris Johnson came on the screen.

This play is amazing, especially the 3D glasses. everyone was having so much fun, jumping up and down when a spider or soemthing else hit the 3D glasses.

The actors on stage put a really clever performance together because they started off as late audience members and then were called onto the stage by Zeus who set them lots of challenges, tasks and facts; they had a book with them to help them answer the facts correctly. As well as taking part in these events they also retold stories, one of the stories they retold was the Spartan and Persian battle which we had to wear 3D glasses to watch. When we put on the 3D glasses it looked like and felt like that spears were coming towards the audience and I. I had a great time watching the play, I hope to see some other shows like it in the future. 🙂 😀 🙂
