Spellings will be sent out for the first time this week. Your child’s spelling book will have words which contain particular phonemes which we have practised in phonics that week. This week, we have practised ch, sh, th and ng so the words they will practise will reflect this, such as cheese, ship, think and king. Please encourage your children to also practise these in sentences too so they understand the meaning of the words.
