Buzzing Bees!

On Wednesday afternoon, Class 8 learnt about inheritance and variation as part of our topic on evolution. The children were asked to draw a family of bees to show these processes in action. It is fair to say the children were buzzing with delight by the end of this session!

This week in English, we delved into our new unit of stories from other cultures, starting with the tale of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. In groups, we explored the story and identified the features that told us it was set at a different time and in a different culture.
