Today the children discussed what a plant needs to grow. They watched a video which explained how a seed starts its roots and spouts through the soil. Then they set up an experiment to see which conditions a plant grows best in. They planted seeds in a cupboard, some on a window sill and others by a wall. Finally they wrote a prediction.
