Searching the starry skies!
Posted On 13 Nov 2015
What an amazing experience we had this afternoon! We were lucky enough to have the Cosmodome from York University at school today, and we had such a fantastic time in the blow up planetarium looking at star constellations in the night sky and exploring the solar system – as if we were in space!
Can you name any constellations of stars? Have you seen any in the night sky recently?
I really enjoyed seeing the great bear and the little bear!
Me too Mollie, I didn’t know the plough (the ‘frying pan’!) was part of the big bear!
The Cosmodome was STAGGERINGLY BRILLIANT, and it was a TERRIFICLY BREATHTAKING experience!
I am going to go star-gazing whenever I can! 🙂
It was awesome being in the Cosmodome! 🙂
