While the Year 5’s have been doing their tests this week, the Year 6’s in Class 8 have been writing a narrative based on the short video clip story of Alma. This video clip created a lot of debate and was the stimulus for some super planning, editing and writing!

In my opinion it was my favourite task so far!! It was really creative and imaginative!
The video clip was really odd and intriguing as it had no dialogue but I enjoyed writing it.
I enjoyed watching the clip and writing it up, although it was quite creepy! 😉
I really enjoyed doing this writing as first of all it is probably our most important piece of writing and secondly I enjoy writing stories based on a visual prompt.

i had lots of fun doing this peice of narrative writing as i extreemely enjoyed therather strange theme!! however oscar spilled water all over half of my work:o
and we had a great time with Mrs Campbell and surprisingly the test were great fun too!
The video was really interesting so that made me think more creatively when I wrote the narrative.
I loved writing the story of Alma and how she turned in to a doll!
