Well done to all those who got through to the quarter finals!
Here are the results from this round:
Monday:
Lydia beat Amy (11-2,11-1)
Reuben beat Marshall (11-4,11-6)
Robbie beat Thomas M (11-5, 12- 10)
Holly beat William C (11-2, 11-7)
Tuesday:
Jordan beat William G (11-7, 8-11. 11-8)
Jacob M beat Louie (11-7, 11-3)
Jake beat Ben (11-8, 12-10)
Aidan beat Moya (11-4, 11-4)
Good luck to all of you…we will have a new champion this time! The draw will be on Friday 24th January in Mr Mastrelli’s classroom. George and Mr Staite will be doing the draw for the Quarter Finals!
Moya (Class 9)
The match between Jordan and William was absolutely incredible! William was playing extremely well but Jordan played at his best and knocked William out of the competition! Well played to William and congratulations to Jordan; I bet he feels ecstatic. 3 incredible sets were played in this game with the scores being – 11,7 – 8,11 – 11,8. What an incredible game! I hope the rest of the tournament is as intense and as amazing as this match was!
