The Seven Continents

Class 6 started their topic work today by using atlases ? and other information provided to research features of the seven continents. The children used their reading skills to pick out the key information. They then designed a new flag for their continent ??.

Labelling

In English today we went on a hunt around the classroom to find lots of labels. We then defined what labels are before labelling the objects in our classroom. Some of us went on to add adjectives as well; great work Class 4!

Partitioning in maths 

On Wednesday in maths we used dice to help us create three and four digit numbers. We then partitioned them carefully to help us understand the value of each digit.
