Reception class assembly

It was great to attend the second reception class assembly this year – it proved that taking over the stage is not too big of a task for them, even at their young age.
The large audience could witness lots of involvement of all the children, and in how many ways they could express themselves with song, dance, acting, counting, rhymes…plus helping with the appearances of the odd dragon, robot, prince and princess etc. for good measure!
It was a captivating performance, which demonstrated, how much the children have already learned, done and developed in the year so far and how much their independence has increased, whilst they were having fun and obviously remained their happy selves. Well done Miss Lamb, Mrs Stone and whoever else helped – and the children, of course!
