Topic Enrichment Day

What a fun day! What did you enjoy the most? What did you learn?

    I learnt that King Arthur has not returned from the hill and that in one county they have a museum of giant pencils and in Staffordshire Emma bridgewater made tea cups and that in one county they have lots of diffrent phrases for lots of things and that mur pleg (pronounced mur plague) means please in cornish

    i learnt lots of different words in Cornish like didh da means hello and mur pleg means please. 😛

    I enjoyed looking around all the other classrooms as it was really nice to see what they had spent there morning doing.

    i learnt a few Cornish and Dorik phrases; i learnt how to make the mint cake in class 5. I also leant the story of King Arthur.
